I am a legal and operational executive with more than a decade of global litigation and bankruptcy private practice experience and over seven years in senior executive leadership with New York State government. I drive operational excellence as Senior Deputy Counsel and Executive Deputy Superintendent for Operations at the NYS Department of Financial Services, building on my previous service as the Assistant Secretary for Labor & Workforce for New York, Deputy Director at the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board, and Special Counsel for Ethics, Risk and Compliance at the NYS Department of Labor. In those roles, I have managed multibillion-dollar budgets, negotiated legislation and regulations, and led crisis management concerns by maintaining uninterrupted operations, including ensuring on-time delivery of the Board’s more than 1,000 hearings per day during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, I successfully drove the Statewide implementation of groundbreaking initiatives, including New York's Paid Family Leave, providing more than 7.5M workers access to job-protected paid leave.
