MCLE Credit Information

IN-PERSON CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE)

The ABA will seek 18.0 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 21.6 hours of CLE credit for this program in 50-minute states. Including 6.0 hours of Ethics CLE credit in 60-minute states and 7.2 hours of CLE credit in 50-minute states and including 4.8 hours of CLE specialty credit in 60-minute states and 4.0 hours of CLE specialty credit in 50-minute states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules. Please visit www.americanbar.org/mcle for general information on CLE at the ABA.

VIRTUAL CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE)

The ABA will seek 14 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 16.8 hours of CLE credit for this program in 50-minute states. Including 4.5 hours of Ethics CLE credit in 60-minute states and 5.4 hours of CLE credit in 50-minute states. How to Claim Your CLE Credit
Virtual Only Attendees

To receive CLE credit, you must attend the entire session; partial credit is not available, and we cannot provide credit for groups. Do not leave the virtual room during the session.

There is a 3-step process to claim your CLE Credit during the conference.

  1. Note the code: Towards the end of the program, there will be a slide presented with an audible announcement of the participation verification code. Please make a note of this code and the name of the CLE program you attended.
  2. Enter the Code: Immediately after the program has ended, enter the code in the submission box on the CLE Program page on the virtual platform.
  3. Complete the CLE affidavit: Virtual attendees who meet the CLE requirements will receive an email with a link to complete the certification process within a week after the Spring Meeting. Please follow the link and complete the CLE affidavit for the entire conference, providing your bar information as requested. As part of the CLE affidavit, you will have to mark which Spring Meeting programs you attended, so be sure to keep a list of those programs. Once the completed form is submitted, your certificate(s) will be available for download.

CLE credit is only available for live presentations during the scheduled program time at the Spring Meeting

In-Person Only Attendees

There is a 2-step process to claim your CLE Credit for the conference.

  1. Sign In: each day at the Section Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Orlando (NY attorneys will also need to sign out each day).
  2. Complete the CLE affidavit: In-person attendees who meet the CLE requirements will receive an email with a link to complete the certification process within a week after the Spring Meeting. Please follow the link and complete the CLE affidavit for the entire conference, providing your bar information as requested. As part of the CLE affidavit, you will have to mark which Spring Meeting programs you attended, so be sure to keep a list of those programs. Once the completed form is submitted, your certificate(s) will be available for download.

CLE credit is only available for live presentations during the scheduled program time at the Spring Meeting.

Final Step - Complete BOTH CLE affidavits

  • You will have to complete 2 CLE affidavits, one for the virtual CLE programs you attended, and one for the in-person CLE program you attended.
  • You will receive 2 separate emails that each contain your unique link for both CLE affidavits within a week after the meeting. Please note these emails and links will look similar, but one will be labelled as Virtual CLE. Please follow each link and complete the CLE affidavits for the entire conference, providing your bar information as requested.
  • As part of the CLE affidavit, you will have to mark which programs you attended, please keep track of the programs you attended (whether virtually or in-person, as there are two separate CLE affidavits for each type of program).
  • Once the completed form(s) is submitted, your certificate(s) will be available for download.
